About the Role:

Job Purpose:

  • To create display and merchandising solutions according to the annual display and activity program in all Dubai Duty Free locations.
  • To implement the visual display concepts, standards and plans for all DDF retail areas and ensure the consistent application

Key Duties:

  • Initiate, organize and implement creative solutions and designs for the annual display activity program in all DDF locations.
  • Maintain DDF display standard in all retail locations, observe and follow display guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Source all required display materials and ensure that the cost is within budget.
  • Implement the visual display concept as instructed with minimum disruption to retail areas.
  • Assemble and produce display props in accordance with identifies display concepts.
  • Implement promotional display directives.
 

About You:

 The ideal candidate should have:

  • Knowledge of the theory and techniques required to design visually appealing displays.
  • Advanced computer skills specifically in programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch.
  • Organizational awareness and knowledge of cultural differences to enable a smooth and effective work environment.
  • Innovation and creativity - able to propose new and original ideas, approaches and solutions to problems.
  • Integrity - able to maintain high standards of honesty and trustworthiness.
  • Detail focus - able to demonstrate a high attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy of work completed.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree in Visual Arts or its equivalent
  • Preferably with 3 years working experience in visual merchandising in a retail environment

Conditions of Employment:

If selected for this position, you will be required to:

  • Work in different locations within the Dubai Duty Free airport operations.
  • Wear corporate uniform.
